‘Grown-up taste buds’ are the target of Britvic’s latest sugar-free 7up, Mojito.
Available now in a 600ml format (rsp: £1.19/99p PMP), the new 7up Free variant - launched in France in 2014 - aims to tap into growing consumer interest in cocktail flavours. It combines the mint of a mojito with the citrus zest of 7up.
The UK debut of 7up Free Mojito will be supported with a campaign including TV, OOH, PoS and sampling throughout the summer.
“We understand that sugar is a key factor in shoppers’ purchasing decisions, so 7up Free Mojito is the perfect option for health-conscious consumers who are looking for something a little bit different,” said Britvic marketing director Kevin McNair.
“The 7up brand has been a key driver of sugar-free growth in carbonates, and we envisage this variant will further strengthen this by attracting new shoppers into the segment.”
