David McIntosh, managing director of Menzies Distribution, is leaving the company.
The newspaper and magazine distributor said he was leaving “to pursue other interests after completing 25 years’ service”.
McIntosh joined Menzies in 1989 as group financial analyst. He went on to hold the roles of finance director and commercial and marketing director, before becoming MD.
“On behalf of the board I would like to extend my thanks to David for the outstanding contribution he has made during his long career with the group and I look forward to continuing to work together over the coming months,” said Iain Napier, Chairman of Menzies Distribution’s parent company John Menzies.
Menzies added that a search for McIntosh’s replacement would begin shortly and that McIntosh would continue in his current role and “assist in providing an orderly handover to his successor”.
