Meccano is making its first move into the popular blind-bagged format.

Following the rollout last month of construction kits based on vehicles from the Gears of War video game franchise, the company is launching six figures from the game, including hero Marcus Fenix. Each pack (rsp: £1.99) contains a figure, a weapon and a collector’s sheet.

The next video game in the series, Gears of War: Judgment, launches in March 2013.
