Budgens retailer Guy Warner has opened a sixth store in the Cotswolds and announced an extension to his contract with the symbol.
Warner, who has been a partner with Budgens since 2006, opened the doors to a 4,000 sq ft supermarket on Greet Road, Winchcombe, in Gloucestershire this month.
The supermarket features a Cook concession, in-store bakery and a wide range of locally sourced produce.
The completion of the store comes at the same time as Warner announced a three-year extension to his contract with the symbol, which was taken over by Booker in September.
“I am delighted to sign a further three-year contract to partner with Budgens, as a symbol brand they are the best fit for Warner’s stores,” said Warner.
“Our customers know and recognise the brand, the fresh range is outstanding and with Booker behind us we have even greater options to extend some of our other lines. We get exceptional marketing support and are able to share ideas and expertise with other Budgens retailers across the UK. I look forward to achieving more growth in the next three years.”
Budgens director Mike Baker added: “It’s a real pleasure to serve Guy, one of our most successful retailers, and we are delighted to be working with him. Our business partnership with Warner’s is based on a shared commitment to achieving growth and the best food offer for customers.”
