One month after John West announced it was rolling out its No Drain concept across its entire tuna range, rival Princes is stepping up innovation with a flavour-infused range.
Princes is launching Infused Tuna into Tesco from next month in lemon & cracked black pepper, chilli and basil flavours (rsp: £1.45 per 160g can).
"Value-added tuna has traditionally focused on salads and lines like mayonnaise and sweetcorn," said marketing director Ruth Simpson. "We saw an opportunity to drive more consumers into this area."
