Sainsbury’s has launched the second meal planner in its Feed Your Family for £50 campaign.
The scheme was launched earlier this month, providing a list of ingredients and menu cards for a family of four for seven days – or 84 meals, including a Sunday roast.
The new planner includes dishes such as peanut butter on toast for breakfast; cottage cheese, grated carrot & rocket pittas for lunch; and sausage, tomato & cannellini pot with mash for dinner.
“We know the weekly shop is one of the family's biggest regular expenses and are pleased we can help make it easier and more cost-effective,” said Claire Harrison-Church, director of brand communications at Sainsbury's.
“Home cooking doesn't have to mean cordon bleu, so that's why all our meal ideas are sensible and achievable for every family.”
