One of the largest top-end supermarkets in Holland, with more than 900 stores, it recently celebrated its 125th anniversary. Its groceries were once considered expensive, but now it’s known for lower prices as well as a “strong code of ethics” and a “thorough understanding of the needs of its Dutch shoppers”.
