Crafty creations: Small-batch tipples top our global launches

France: Ancho Chile Liqueur

This Mexican liqueur comes with a kick. Made with Ancho chillies, cinnamon and cacao, Ancho Reyes says the tipple (rsp: €42/£36) has a rich velvet warmth followed by a lingering smoky heat.

US: Dog Trot Vodka

Named after a style of house common throughout the US’ Southern states, Big Thicket’s Dog Trot Vodka is handcrafted in small batches in Texas. The voddy (rsp $27.79/£18.90) is ideal for sipping or mixing into cocktails.

UK: Cold Press Coffee Liqueur

Late nights, good times – that’s the Mr Black slogan. The Cold Press Coffee Liqueur (rsp: £39.50) mixes Arabica coffee with pure Australian grain spirit for a boozy hit with a caffeine kick.

France: Don Papa Rum

Don Papa Rum (rsp: €38.50/£33.10) is aged for over seven years in oak barrels in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon in the Philippines. It features a smooth taste and a touch of vanilla, according to manufacturer Bleeding Heart Rum.

Spain: Jinzu Gin

Jinzu Gin is described as a delightful reimagining of the premium botanical journey. Named after a Japanese river, the tipple (rsp: €23.95/£20.59) contains Japanese botanicals, such as yuzu and cherry blossom, with more traditional gin flavours.

US: Coconut Water Cocktail

Coco 21’s Pineapple-Flavoured Coconut Water Vodka Cocktail offers a pre-mixed taste of the exotic. The ready-to-serve drink (rsp: $11.90/£10.23) combines premium vodka, coconut water and pineapple juice in a low-calorie format.

Mexico: Craft Tequila Sunrise

Taking a Tequila Sunrise to new levels, JLP’s craft cocktail usesTequila Blanco, which is said to be produced from the finest Weber blue agave. The spirit is double-distilled before being mixed into the cocktail (rsp: MXN32.00/£1.49).

Netherlands: Gastronomic Gin

Ginraw Rare Gastronomic Distilled Gin claims to capture the essence of Barcelona’s unique lifestyle. The gin (rsp: €49.99/£42.98) features hints of fresh lemon and citron peel, kaffir lime and laurel leaves, smoky black cardamom and coriander seeds.

France: Scotch with Brazilian Lime

Mixing the Scottish classic with Brazilian flavours, Ballantine’s Brasil Scotch Whisky with Brazilian Lime Peel (rsp: €17.50/£15.05) combines blended whisky with citrus and vanilla. Its signature serve is called a Highland Simba – a long drink with lemonade and ice.

India: Magic Moments drink

This 8% vodka infused drink allows a flavourful escape from boredom – at least that’s what Magic Moments says of its Electra Agent Orange-flavoured drink (rsp: INR 130.00/£1.52).
