On-the-go and sparkling dominate global innovations

Hoping to hook consumers thirsty for something sparkling, Jules Mumm+ has repackaged its Sparkling Wine with Acai (€1.77/£1.48). The drink, containing the antioxidant superfood berry, now comes in a 0.2-litre clouded glass bottle.
What do you get when you cross a vegetable grower with a winery? In this case, it’s Vinivega Tomato Wine (price not given). This dry wine is said to have a soft, mildly spicy and tropical flavour.
Little beats a chilled white wine spritzer in the sunshine, and Yellow Tail Bondi Rd has tapped that with its Elderflower & Mint Sav Blanc Spritz (AUD14.00/£7.97). This four-pack product is perfect for carrying down to the beach.

It works for beer, cider and even cocktails, so isn’t it time wine in a can took off? Oregon-based Underwood has launched Pinot Gris Wine ($5.49/£4.17) cans to join its Pinot Noir variant.
Prosecco sales are fizzing over at the moment and Sparklips is riding the wave with its Strawberry Flavoured Sparkling Wine (no price given). Strawberry adds a sweet and satisfying twist to this Prosecco-based product, which retails in a 75cl bottle.
