Squashes and cordials 

This slightly twee ad purports to show two best ‘pals’ larking around all day. You realise something might be amiss when, in the final few scenes one of the young kids carries his best mate to bed and then, as the light is switched off, the best ‘pal’ morphs into the kid’s dad. Aww. It appears the ad failed to pull enough on the heartstrings of consumers, however - the brand’s volume sales fell, although value was up.
