Tom Moody
VP and MD for N Europe, P&G
Last ranked: -
With the retirement of Irwin Lee, Moody now leads the P&G UK and Northern European businesses. His task isn’t easy. Sales at the world’s top 50 fmcg firms (of which P&G is no 2) reached their second-lowest level in a decade last year [OC&G Global 50 Index]. The discounters also present a problem, while categories like batteries and razors are also being impacted by technology and consumer trends. And there’s no excuses for failure, with executive chairman Alan G Lafley identifying 100 brands for disposal, leaving Moody with a collection of “leadership” brands he’ll be expected to grow faster and for more profit.
