Asda has kicked off a healthy living drive and is believed to be launching a new healthy-eating advice service for customers.

The supermarket has applied to register a 'Feel Good with Asda' trademark and a new advice service would fit in with the company's desire to become the "voice of the people" through common-sense retailing.

Categories listed under the Feel Good with Asda logo on the government's Intellectual Property Office website include services related to food and health, professional advice services relating to food technology, and provision of information on healthcare and food safety.
