However, she noted that the store was otherwise well stocked and the staff were helpful when she needed to find items.

3 There were several items out of stock when our mystery shopper checked the Morrisons store on Whitwick Road in Coalville, Leicestershire. The store was sold out of carrots, Kingsmill Crumpets and the Mach 3 Turbo razor. She also reported that several other items in the fruit and vegetable section were almost out of stock.

sainsbury's Chesham, Buckinghamshire



0 The only item our mystery shopper could not find at this Sainsbury's store was a tub of own label Brussels pâté, although the store did stock the pâté in wrapped packs instead. However, also she noted that Mach 3 Turbo razors were very hard to find, as they were located at the end of aisle, rather than in the men's section.

1 Our shopper reported that this Somerfield store, which is located on North Street East in Rutland, Leicestershire, had a wide product range for a shop of its size. However the store was sold out of the six pack of Kingsmill crumpets and did not stock the 700g package of McCain hash browns.

0 Our mystery shopper found everything he needed at this Tesco Extra store, which made headlines when it lost a bid for retroactive planning permission. Despite the setback, our mystery shopper reported that the Stockport store had "massive space" available and the widest product range he had ever seen in a grocery store.

0 Our mystery shopper was very impressed by her experience at this Waitrose store, which won this week's top store award for its outstanding service. The relatively small 17,000 sq ft store did not sell Kingsmill crumpets, but had all the other items she was looking for.
