Baxters is launching a range of soups designed to satisfy hunger for longer.

The five-strong Stay Full range (rsp: £1.69/400g) is high in protein, vegetables, meat and pulses. Baxters said the soups give shoppers at least two of their five-a-day and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

The range, which launches into Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose stores next week, includes Tomato, Chorizo & Mixed Bean; Beetroot, Tomato & Buckwheat; and Broccoli, Salmon & Watercress.

Research conducted by Wirral Sensory Services suggested consumers felt significantly fuller up to three hours after eating the new Stay Full soups compared with a standard recipe, Baxters claimed.

"This is a perfect choice for health-conscious consumers who want to feel fuller for longer without compromising on taste," said marketing manager Elaine Tewnion.
