Scottish multiples have signed up to a quirky marketing idea aimed at leading consumers straight to the spirits fixture.
Branches of Safeway and Somerfield have had giant red tartan footprints, which lead to shelves stacked with bottles of Scottish Leader Whisky, painted on their floors.
Burn Stewart Distillers came up with the concept, which also features a painting of a bottle of Leader whisky between the feet.
