The brand has sold 1.1 million (13.8%) more chilled ready meals, no mean feat in a sector ruled by own label sold chiefly on ‘dine in’ meal deals. “We’re a challenger brand,” says CEO Patrick Cains. “By focusing on quality and providing reassurance only a brand can offer, we’re getting consumers to reassess prepared meals.” New packs are rolling into stores now, and its first-ever outdoor campaign will see Charlie Bigham’s appear on billboards on the Tube from April.
