Müller has announced plans to place the future of its loss-making foodservice delivery operation under review.
The business, acquired as part of the deal to buy Dairy Crest’s milk division, supplies fresh milk and other products to 3,000 non-residential customers in England and Wales but loses about £5m a year. Müller has confirmed a 45-day review and consultation and will assess whether existing foodservice customers can be better served in other ways.
