Sex & The City actor Jason Lewis provides a seductive explanation of the reason for Aero's bubbles in a new TV ad for the chocolate brand. Nestlé UK is hoping to get hearts a-fluttering by using the small screen heartthrob to explain that Aero's well-known aeration creates a unique, melting chocolate-eating experience. The ad, part of a £5.6m campaign for the brand, breaks this week. An initial six-week burst backs the Aero Milk Chocolate Bubbles sharing bag, launched in February, while a second wave for the range will follow in the autumn. Activity also includes print advertising and extensive sampling. The company is confident that visuals will appeal to the brand's core consumers and said the new campaign for Aero had "tested really well" with its target audience of 18 to 30-year-old-women.
