Premium food retailer Eat 17 has rolled out refillable stations across its Walthamstow store as it seeks to crack down on plastic waste.
Stations include dried cereal, chickpeas, kidney beans, rice, gluten-free penne, chia seeds, dried lentils and goji berries.
Customers can bring in their own receptacles and pay according to weight.
The move consolidates the range of refillable stations for food, washing up liquid, fabric softener, detergent and wine in the chain’s Bishop’s Stortford store. Customers also receive 50p off their coffee when they purchase reusable bamboo cups.
