As the fields start to feel the frost, and God’s creatures enter hibernation … here’s an ad where a mole sails the sunlit skies.

Ambrosia’s cute creature breaks through the soil to catch a passing balloon and embark on an unexpected aerial tour of Devon, to a dreamy Everly Brothers soundtrack. The weather (and the county) is beautiful. Our cheeky hero takes advantage of a fortuitous dip into a raspberry patch to grab some fruit, and an even-more-fortuitous picnic fly-by, where it’s able to dip said berry into a cascade of Ambrosia, before touching down by a picturesque farmhouse.

Cute animal, gorgeous scenery and yummy-looking product: check, check and check. It’s a nice reminder of sunny days ahead, perhaps – but it does seem a bit strange to screen this fruit-themed ad in winter, when so many comforting winter puds need topping.
