Unless you’ve been hiding behind the sofa for a week, you’ll have noticed the BBC has been celebrating the 50th anniversary of Dr Who.

And the Beeb hasn’t been the only business marking the Time Lord’s birthday, with a few food and drink brands jumping on the band-Tardis.

Bogof’s favourite is Greggs’ apparent promise of a new treat, Fish Fingers & Custard - a dish favoured by the current Doctor, as played by Matt Smith.

The Saucy Fish Co also made a fish & custard reference as part of a social media push and temporary rebranding as The Saucy Doctor Co (possibly a reference to the Doc’s recent habit of snogging the face off his companions).

All good stuff, but one obvious tie-up opportunity was missed. Given Tom Baker’s passion for a particular confection, where in all of space and time were the 50th anniversary jelly babies?
