Farewell, Margaret and Mabel! Aunt Bessie’s has binned off its nosy granny duo in favour of some new blood.

Meet George. He’s on his way home from work when he’s struck by some ‘dinnertime inspiration’. Like Forrest Gump, he just starts running. Unlike Forrest, he wisely switches up his modes of transportation. Some ingenious edits see him mount first a child’s bicycle and then a huge horse, upon which he gallops through his neighbours’ gardens.

With equal speed, George knocks up a Yorkshire puds-featuring meal for his kids. The action is impressive, and some funny moments (George stripping off like Superman, the witty script, the soundtrack) have us rooting for our new hero. We don’t miss you, grannies.
