The world of coffee can be confusing, especially if you’re one of those basic McDonald’s ad customers, impotently furious at the existence of the flat white.
Lavazza is embracing the turmoil. In its new campaign, it’s asking a surprising lineup of people what a real Italian coffee might be.
The question prompts a range of responses: some Mexican wrestlers vote Americano, an actor playing Hamlet ponders espresso, while some Arsenal and Liverpool footballers also weigh in (Aubameyang’s a cappuccino man), as do loads of really good-looking models.
Of course, Lavazza is the answer. And just when you think this punchy, colourful and musical ad can’t get any better, it ends with a talking dog. Grande!
