If you want your brand to appeal to cool, young, active people (and who doesn’t?) you’d be hard-pressed to find a better ambassador than a 17-year-old Team GB Olympic skateboarder.

Step up, Lola Tambling. We see her at the breakfast table and then, to make clear the link between Weetabix Crispy Minis and all the energy required for a busy day’s kickflipping, suddenly perched on the precipice of a cereal bowl. It starts to rain Minis (though they’re not so mini to tiny Tambling), so she zooms into the bowl, expertly dodging them.

A tsunami of milk approaches (outside the bowl, for some reason), but before we have time to worry about that we’re miraculously back at the table, where Tambling reminds us, in her dulcet Cornish accent, to “drop some flavour into your bowl”.

If it’s slightly weird to make the product look a bit threatening, it’s a canny way of offering viewers a close-up, as well as alerting them to the new Caramelised Biscuit variant. Wholesome stuff.
