Vegan advice: offer carnivores the gift of peace (until Boxing Day)

Vegans looking to navigate political hot potatoes (and turkey, pigs in blankets etc) have been given some official advice from Veganuary’s Kate Fowler.

Fowler’s light-hearted seasonal guide suggests animal avoiders be ‘gracious’ about non-vegan gifts (before charity-shopping them) and step away from the table when it’s carving time.

They can then go “full throttle” on Boxing Day, when “regretful” gluttons are likely to be most vulnerable, the guide suggests. If only there was some kind of pledge they could make the following month…
