Ironic that the retailer selling peeled oranges last week was… Whole Foods Market.
The wasteful practice was brought to a swift halt last week after shoppers pointed out Mother Nature had already provided oranges with some pretty nifty packaging, so plastic containers weren’t necessary. Whole Foods pulled the line pronto and apologised: kudos.
