Adkin becomes operations director for AF Blakemore's Tates

Stuart Adkin is the new operations director of Tates, the company owned stores division of Spar wholesaler AF Blakemore. He replaces Geoff Hallam, who became managing director following the retirement of Colin Ellis. Adkin has been with the wholesaler since 1990. Before joining Blakemore he worked his way up at Argyll Stores as trainee manager and then store manager. Adkin’s most recent position was regional manager for Tates’, responsible for 65 Spar stores in the Midlands and South. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
