Sainsbury has introduced electronic top-up terminals from E-pay at all its stores and petrol stations.
Category manager Charlotte Alberry said: “The shift from scratchcard to electronic enables us to avoid extra costs from keeping cards in stock and reduces the possibility of scratchcard theft.”
The roll out of terminals started in November.
