Tim Cross has taken over as non-executive chairman of Aberness following Bruce Cochrane's decision to step down after 12 years. Cross is founder and chief executive officer of independent oil company Dana Petroleum. Cochrane has assumed a non-executive directorship of the Mace wholesaler which supplies 180 independent stores, and 38 company outlets. Cochrane said: "Over the past few years we have appointed new members to the Aberness board to ensure the continued development of our business. Under managing director Stanley Morrice we now have a strong team in place to ensure the continued success of Mace in Scotland." {{NEWS }}
