Budgens has boosted its property department with two senior appointments as it steps up its store opening programme.
Sian Edwards has been promoted to senior controller and will be involved in the development of new stores.
Edwards joined Budgens as a project manager five years ago, following periods with Barclays Bank and building contractors.
Mark West has been promoted to new store development manager. He will work with the acquisitions team and be involved in the identification and evaluation of new sites.
Property director James Pye said: "Sian's promotion recognises the contribution she has made to the new store and refit programme. Mark brings a wealth of skills from previous roles with Budgens, Somerfield and the Co-operative Group."
New owner Musgrave has pledged to take Budgens' turnover past £1bn within five years by stepping up store openings and injecting more resources into Budgens Local.
