The Grocer Gold Awards 2015 - The Oscars of the grocery retail, wholesale and fmcg industry - has opened for entries, and there’s three new categories up for grabs.
The new awards are for the Drinks Retailer of the Year, Fine Food Retailer of the Year and Green Initiative of the Year, joining 23 other long-standing, prestigious awards including Brand of the Year, Independent Retail Chain of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Wholesaler of the Year, and the ultimate accolade The Grocer of the Year.
The Grocer Gold Awards celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of companies in the UK fmcg sector over the past year. The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at London’s Guildhall on 9 June, sponsored by Imperial Tobacco, Openfield and SHS Group. Those celebrating last year included Aldi, Heineken, JJ Food Service and The Ice Co.
