Divine Chocolate has brought a piece of true innovation to a sometimes-stagnant category

Champion: Divine Chocolate, The Dessert Bar Cheesecake Lemon and Biscuit

By reimagining block chocolate as a dessert, Divine Chocolate has brought a piece of true innovation to a sometimes-stagnant category.

The Divine team collected an award from Jamie Laing and Adam Leyland

Featuring crisp pieces of lemon infused with lemon oil alongside chunks of buttery biscuit, all smothered in white chocolate, its Cheesecake Lemon and Biscuit is one of three flavours in the Dessert Bar range, which also includes Milk Chocolate Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate Bakewell. Each one can be broken into shards and served to dinner party guests with ice cream or enjoyed alongside an after-dinner espresso

It’s such a ”clever and innovative proposition”, our judges thought, with just the right price point (“reassuringly expensive but not extortionate”) and a perfectly executed recipe.
