Champion: Pip Organic Apple Fizz
Our judges loved the backstory of Pip Organic’s Apple Fizz, which was inspired by its co-founder’s pre-teen daughter and the pressure she faced to tuck into sugar-laden soft drinks despite her parents’ objections. Unable to find a healthier option on the market themselves, they decided to create one, squeezing, crushing and blending fruit from organic farms to create a drink that pre-teens would enjoy and parents would approve of.
They well and truly achieved that goal, according to our judges, with a “crisp fruit aroma, lovely apple flavour and just the right amount of bubbles” coupled with an “incredibly” clean ingredient deck that puts others on the market to shame.
