The Grocer’s New Product Awards 2022: Kitchen Cupboard

This was “an outstanding product”, said our judges. “Truly delicious.” The limited-edition single-estate extra virgin olive oil, the first single-estate oil brought to the UK by the brand, is made from olives grown and crushed at its own olive grove in Tuscany. The result is a “stunning high-quality olive oil” perfect for drenching over a luxe salad or dish, and great as a gift item for condiment connoisseurs too.

The oil itself has an “exceptional fruity taste and aroma” with peppery notes that added up to a “simply divine” sensory experience and gave the product an indulgent feel. “I could drink this on its own,” praised one judge. This great flavour was further complemented by premium and elegant packaging

Quite simply, “a wonderful oil for serving with breads and salamis and as a salad oil or drizzled on top of a pasta dish”.
