Winner – Belvoir Farm Botanical Soda Floral Fizz
Belvoir Farm’s new drink targets a “gap in the adult soft drinks market” for a “sophisticated flavour profile that is lower in sugar”, with a touch of indulgence and a botanical edge. Judges felt the drink was not only “beautifully presented in a resealable glass bottle with attractive artwork, giving it great on-shelf presence”, but the taste was “fresh and fruity” utilising a “great combination” of ingredients.
“A super product” that communicated its clear proposition of botanicals on premium packaging and followed through on the palate. “The colour is appealing, as is the level of fizz, which is both refreshing and a little ’celebratory’,” said one judge. “The acidity too is perfectly judged.”
It would make a great alternative to alcohol, particularly during summer, judges agreed, with superb visual appeal and a taste that more than met expectations. A premium product through and through.
