Mövenpick, known for its Swiss-made ice cream, has given German firm Bauer the licence to distribute and market the brand in the UK. Bauer is set to introduce Mövenpick premier desserts. The two sectors were represented by over 70 firms in the FFB pavilion at the show, which was described by officials as "one of the largest gatherings ever to project the quality and technological excellence of British specialities". Kombucha cordial is made from fermented sweetened China tea with a microbial culture aimed at helping the body's immune system.
