Media Bites: Asahi/AB InBev, Fyffes, Hotel Chocolat

The Japanese brewing giant Asahi is nearing a £5bn takeover of a portfolio of European beers that includes the Czech lager Pilsner Urquell, after edging ahead in a fiercely competitive bid battle.
