Ian Hagg has been appointed to the new role of corporate social responsibility director for Findus Group.
He will be responsible for ensuring sustainability remains at the core of all Findus Group activity.
He joins from British Gas, where he was head of social policy and helped to reposition the company on fuel poverty and energy efficiency. He has also worked for Shell UK as well as PR companies Luther Pendragon, Consolidated PR and Hill and Knowlton.
"Ian brings a wealth of experience to the business and will play a pivotal role in ensuring that CSR sits at the heart of our business delivering value to our consumers," said corporate affairs director Toby Nicol.
Findus Group has also appointed Jola Gillespie as chief information officer. Gillespie joins from SABMiller where she was chief information officer for Europe. She has also worked for PepsiCo.
