Aimia Foods is expanding its Mars-branded instant beverages with new pouched products, including two that can be drunk hot or cold.

The Wigan-based company is rolling out six seven-serve pouches to Asda and Tesco from next week. The line-up comprises a Mars hot or cold drink, Milky Way Stars, Galaxy Ripple with mini ripple pieces, Galaxy Caramel, a Galaxy hot or cold drink and Maltesers (£1.99 each or two-for-£3). Aimia is also launching a Galaxy Light low-calorie drink (£2.99/180g jar).

Value sales of Galaxy hot drinks have risen 18.8%, while Maltesers drinks are down 26.9% [Nielsen 52w/e 13 Oct 2013].
