Tesco is continuing to extend the number of wines available in screwcaps with the introduction of a batch of new wines. Four wines are joining Tesco's own-label Unwind range next month, taking the total number to 10.
Tesco's product development manager, Lindsay Talas, said: "We are delighted with the success of the Unwind range and have had some really positive feedback from customers.
"We plan to add a Tempranillo from Argentina, a Chilean Pinot Noir, a rosé from Australia and a German Riesling.
She added: "In addition we plan to convert other wines in our range to screwcap, and to launch a number of new wines with screwcap.
"The majority of screwcap wines to date have come from the New World, but now we are cracking the classics too."
