Per Henérius has been appointed managing director of sugar confectionery manufacturer Haribo Dunhills (Pontefract), whose brands include Strawbs, Starmix,
Tangfastics and Kiddies SuperMix.
Henérius replaces Helmut Mager, who has returned to Germany to pursue other interests after 25 years at Haribo.
Henérius, who is originally from Sweden, will be responsible for growing the Haribo brand in the UK, which last year achieved sales growth of 8%.
He was the managing director of Haribo Norway for four years before coming to the UK. Prior to his appointment in Norway, Henérius was responsible for the company’s duty-free sector.
