Children’s food brand Little Dish has added soup to its portfolio of products for toddlers.
Following the recent launch of the brand’s pots and pies lineup, the new range comprises three variants - Tomato, Chicken & Veg, and Carrot & Butternut - which have been approved by celebrity nutritionist Lucy Jones as suitable for kids aged from one to three. Each provides two of a child’s recommended 5 a day, is low in salt, and contains no added sugar, additives or preservatives.
Set to roll out to Sainsbury’s from 5 October, the NPD is packaged in 200g pots featuring Little Dish’s Zoo Crew characters (rsp: £1.25).
“All too often, shop-bought soups contain high levels of salt and sugar, said the brand’s marketing director, Charlotte Tisdall. “This launch is the next step on our mission to make a positive impact on kids’ health with a range of meals, snacks and accompaniments that contain no hidden nasties and give parents a choice of convenient, proper food for their little ones.”
