Heinz has made a number of changes to its management.
Jan Boers is moving up to the new role of director for business growth and development.
Steve Turner, most recently integration director for Heinz’s acquisition of HP, replaces Boers as the commercial director for infant nutrition.
Boers takes up his new role next week (on February 1) and will be working particularly on the creation of new company-wide growth opportunities.
Jane Miller, president of Heinz UK & Ireland, said that Boers had an impressive track record of developing big ideas and delivering innovation.
Turner also takes up his new role next week and will be responsible for managing the UK infant nutrition business, leading the growth and development of Heinz’s baby feeding portfolio.
He has worked at Heinz since 1993, during which time he has held various roles within the ketchup, condiments, sauces and frozen categories.
Separately, Heinz has also appointed Amanda Lee as head of trade marketing.
Lee, who takes up her role with immediate effect, was most recently business delivery manager for HP Sauces.
She joined Heinz from Centura Foods in 2002 as a trade category manager, and then trade category controller in various categories.
