Activity is hotting up in the children's market with the Redan Company extending its Fun to Learn comic range and Egmont Fleetway launching a new TV campaign for its Thomas the Tank Engine titles. Fun to Learn Friends from Redan will make its debut on February 23, priced 99p and aimed at three to four year olds. After the second issue, out on March 20, the magazine will be published every three weeks. Distribution is by Comag. Meanwhile sales of Fun to Learn Favourites, launched in October, are expected to be boosted with the addition of Mr Potato Head ­ a character from the newly released film Toy Story 2. At the same time Egmont Fleetway's Thomas and Friends and Play and Learn Thomas and Friends magazines are on track for sales boosts with a £500,000 network TV advertising campaign, running from Feb 23 for four weeks. {{CTN }}
