Vimto Soft Drinks has repackaged its Vimto range and has added a new soft drink, BB Soda, to its portfolio. The purpose of the redesign is to promote a consistent brand image across the range of Vimto carbonates and cordials. It has also added a new flavour ­ Vimto Citrus made from grape, orange, lemon and pink grapefruit ­ to the cordial range. It is supporting the Vimto brand with a £3m marketing campaign this year. This includes a new TV and bus ad campaign fronted by Purple Ronnie in the run up to Easter and during the summer. It is running a sampling campaign and coupons will be sent to 1.5 million households mainly in London and the south to help drive trial in the region. And over Easter an instant win offer will give away 10,000 Kodak fun cameras. Vimto Soft Drinks has secured the sales and distribution rights for BB Soda. This is a natural soft drink in lemonade, orange and raspberry, with no artificial flavours, preservatives, caffeine or chemicals.
