Unilever Bestfoods is backing the relaunch of its Lipton Ice Tea with £5m, including the brand's first ad support. The tea ­ now in glass bottles ­ will be rolled out in the summer. Lemon and Peach flavours join Original following successful trials last year. The aim is to replicate the brand's success in Europe. Business manager Peter Baxendell said: "Half of British people under 30 know the brand from holidays abroad." National billboard ads are planned, as well as a merchandising campaign. Drinks producer AG Barr will deliver the products to the cash and carry, wholesale and out of home sectors. {{P&P }}
