Lidl begins move into Swiss market
Bern, Switzerland: Lidl is planning to enter the Swiss market. The discounter will open its first stores in the country by early 2008 and has already purchased sites and opened offices, according to reports in the Swiss press. It has permission to build two distribution centres to supply as many as 120 stores.
