Australian wine producer Southcorp has recruited Andy Mallows as business sector controller for grocery to build sales of brands such as Penfold’s and Lindemans.

He will have responsibility within the commercial team for overall sales performance and customer relationships. He manages a team of business managers and national account managers covering all of the UK’s major grocery retailers.

Mallows previously worked for Bacardi Brown-Forman as business sector controller for convenience. Prior to that, he worked for Anheuser-Busch. He assumes a role which has been vacant since December.

The company has also recruited Tracy Wild as business manager for specialist convenience customers, filling a post that was vacated due to an internal promotion.

She joins from Tropicana UK, where she was a national account manager.

James Thomson joins as national account manager for the Sainsbury grocery account. He previously worked for Cussons in Australia, where he was national account manager. His appointment is also due to an internal promotion.
