The prestigious GRAMIAs are one of the essential events of the fmcg year where clients and agencies alike celebrate creative excellence and achievements. Now in their ninth year, the awards encompass the entire fmcg industry and are seen as a glittering achievement. And it's not just top quality advertising and stylish creative work that win awards and accolades but also leading agencies across the business outfits that deliver first-class service and outstanding results for their clients. "Receiving the GRAMIA award for PR Agency of the Year last year was a tremendous honour, in particular because of the award sponsorship by The Grocer," says Hilary Meacham, md of Focus PR. "Some industry awards may not be meaningful in the wider world, but we have found that people from all walks of life know and respect The Grocer. It has a heritage and market leading position we are privileged to be associated with." Last year's bash was a highlight of a hardworking year at Park Human Resources. "Winning the Recruitment Services Agency of the Year Award was a fantastic achievement for us," says md Guy Hornsby. "It recognised the outstanding creativity and fantastic efforts of the team here at Park. It also recognised our investment in people and technology to achieve superb client service delivery. The award meant a great deal to Park and our clients." And Paul Mercieca, md of Mercieca Communications, says: "Winning the GRAMIA Best Trade Agency' award confirmed something we had all felt for some time and for me fulfilled a personal aim I had from the first day our doors opened for business nearly seven years ago." Mercieca was keen to promote the win by including it in all the agency's publicity materials to new clients. "Our clients were chuffed to bits for us. "Our new sales platform could become, if you want the very best advice in trade communication, talk to the very best fmcg trade agency in the business official!"
