Marks and Spencer has appointed Jean Tomlin as its new director of human resources with effect from March 17.
Tomlin, who has been the human resource and development director at Corporate Service Group since 2002, will report directly to M&S chief executive Roger Holmes. She will also sit on the group operating committee.
